These are some important procedural notes about the Springboard application process. Screening of applications is a three step process. Here are some important dates:
May 15: Application Deadline
Mid-May: STAGE ONE: Application Prescreen Begins
End of May: STAGE TWO: Business Plan Review Begins
late-June: STAGE THREE: In Person Interviews
July 16: Bootcamp for All Companies Selected to Present at the Forum
NOTE: All communication from Springboard will be conducted via email so please check and read your e-mail regularly
After the initial pre-screen is completed, you will receive an e-mail from Springboard notifying you of your application status. If you are recommended to move on to the next stage of the application process, you will receive an email with instructions requesting that you upload a business plan.
After the business plan review, if you are recommended to move on to the next stage of the application process, you will receive an email with instructions about how to sign up for an in-person interview. Interviews will take place June 24-25, 2008.
Following the interview, if your company is selected to present at ALLTHINGSMEDIA you will receive an email with instructions about how to register for the forum and information about your participation in the Bootcamp which is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the offices of Google in New York City. Payment of the Applicant Registration Fee of $700 is required by that date ($750minus $50 application fee).
Attendance at Bootcamp is MANDATORY for all companies selected to present at ALLTHINGSMEDIA on October 30th. Companies selected to participate are welcome to bring one other member of their team to the bootcamp.
Please Note: Applicants are responsible for handling their own travel, accommodations and meals, except for meals provided during Bootcamp and the Forum.
