Southwest 2002 Venture Capital Forum

About Southwest: 2002

Produced by Springboard Enterprises and the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs – Texas, Springboard: Southwest 2002 took place March 21, 2002 at Fidelity Investments' Conference Center in Dallas, Texas and was co-hosted by Fidelity Investments and Capital Across America. Springboard: Southwest 2002 featured the next generation of high-growth women entrepreneurs in technology and life sciences from the southwest states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Arizona and New Mexico. This venture forum showcased 15 women-led companies to an audience of corporate, angel, and venture investors. The Springboard: Southwest 2002 program began with a series of regional launch events to gather support from the regions’ foremost business leaders, investors, and advisors. Each regional launch event included an educational program for women entrepreneurs and a reception to brief stakeholders on ways they could participate in the process.
