Equity Matters Seminars

Special Program Opportunity for Colleges, Universities and other organizations to license and offer Equity Matters Educational Seminars from Springboard Enterprises.

Target the often under-served women entrepreneurs in your community by offering this unique and timely Seminar. Women-owned businesses are launched every day, but often women do not have broad access to or knowledge about sources of capital. Use this proven, localizable and turn-key solution to educate women entrepreneurs in your community on the benefits and costs of equity capital sources.

Equity Matters Educational Seminars provide a half-day educational program that offers women entrepreneurs a basic introduction to the equity markets. Employing the expertise of local entrepreneurs and investors, the program gives attendees inside information about what's involved in raising equity capital, what investors look for in a business investment, and what resources are available in the community to assist businesses in preparing for and finding an appropriate investor. A networking luncheon following the program enables women entrepreneurs to ask questions and receive input from investors and other business development experts.

Target Audience - Women Entrepreneurs interested in learning more about accessing investment capital to start or expand their businesses, as well as accountants, attorneys and business development professionals and other members of the investment and entrepreneurial communities.
